Excursions into High Art

BareBones Productions provided a one-week residency in March teaching visual art and parading at Opportunity Neighborhood in Brooklyn Center, MN.

Resident youth at Garden View Apartments spent their Spring Break doing Excursions into High Art.  Participants created pole puppets, designed and launched soda bottle rockets, made stilts and practiced stilting.

The week ended with a community parade displaying their puppetry and stilt walking.
