{"id":2726,"date":"2011-09-06T00:41:18","date_gmt":"2011-09-06T05:41:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/barebonespuppets.org\/?p=2726"},"modified":"2021-09-13T00:20:06","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T05:20:06","slug":"august-2011-residency-at-tchdc-liberty-plaza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/barebonespuppets.org\/august-2011-residency-at-tchdc-liberty-plaza\/","title":{"rendered":"TCHDC Liberty Plaza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BareBones provided a late-Summer residency in visual and spectacle arts at <a title=\"About TCHDC Liberty Plaza\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tchdc.org\/asp_pages\/about_liberty_plaza.asp\">TCHDC&#8217;s Liberty Plaza<\/a> housing development in St. Paul, MN.\u00a0 Resident youth enrolled in the Summer Program at the <a title=\"About Liberty Plaza Resource Center\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tchdc.org\/asp_pages\/liberty_plaza.asp\">Liberty Plaza Resource Center<\/a> spent the first two weeks of August at <em>Excursions Into High Art <\/em>learning three different kinds of\u00a0 &#8220;high arts&#8221;.\u00a0 Participants made papier-mache pole puppets, built and launched solid-engine model rockets, and learned to stilt.<\/p>\n<p>On the last Friday, everyone joined in a community parade that showcased their puppetry, stilting, and parading skills.
