Call for Cabaret Performers
Description
For Bare Bones Extravaganza 2021 we will close the night out with 4 Black, Brown or indigenous Artists who want to perform pieces centered around these 4 themes: Grief, Rage, Injustice and/or a celebration of life. 4 artists will be chosen in 4 different realms of performance: Puppetry, Music, Spoken Word/Theater, and Dance.
Qualifications or Requirements
- Have experience performing live
- Able to set own rehearsal schedule
- Be able to perform original work (past work ok) totaling no more than 15 minutes
- Available from 7pm-10:30pm October 31st, 2021
- Examples of past work, or proposed work help in decision making
- Able to navigate google drive and use that medium for whatever files are necessary to make performance a reality
- Be in communication with Performance Director (Xochi de la Luna,) Production Manager, Stage Manager, and Sound Engineer for performance logistics
This is a temporary, independent contractor position that requires candidates to have their own access to materials and technologies necessary for the job.
