This show was beautifully spun woven and cut of its moment . The stilt choreography pictured above was brilliant in its magnetic tempo. The audience coming through the trees to the river each with a candle was gorgeous in its warmth, as the folks willow the wisp-ed through the woods. Witnessed from the river on the sparking swan Boat, it was one of my favorite moments of all time. Enigmatic, Amber's headless gents were well suited companions to the quaintsy skull maidens. Kevin Long's brilliant performance on a boat, raised from the dead and rebuilt for the show ,and bent with Ambers sail to a true work of Art. The variety of giant spiders were captivating from Loren's lightweight leaper to Mattie's super spider, as was the Mordor styled cardboard tower of Babel by Johnny Quick and Sr. Cook. Much thanks to Brent for his heads up on fire that year as we on the fire breathing lion chariot were having perhaps too much fun. Rah's enthusiasm at her ride, tricked out by Linsey, and an early incarnation of many flame wings to follow. A real credit to Suzan Hirshmugl in leadership, direction, and vision.
